Welcome to the new Leyton County website, dedicated to all those County players who can be bothered to move into the 21st century and use the internet.  

After an initial attempt of a website by the ever present Steve Stone, we decided to come up with something completely new and this is it.  Please have a browse around the site and forward any suggestions, comments, queries or general criticism on my ability (or inability) to create a website to the http://lcobfc@hotmail.com e-mail address.  

After nearly two weeks of being accessible on the net, we have had a massive response.  Nearly 125 hits have been recorded on the website so far and this only goes to prove that a great deal of County players do not have enough work to do.

The weather has not continued to create havoc with fixtures as it did last year thankfully and with new captains such as Colin Davies running the 2nd XI, most teams seem to be getting along although we are still at times short of players.  

I am still trying to promote the new site and I would appreciate anybody who visits the site to pass on the address to anyone they think would like to know about it.  I am trying to update it as much as possible and I hope players of all the teams will send in reports of games which will be much easier to publish that through the newsletter.

As you are probably aware there has been a redevelopment of the Fairlop facilities, no more cattle sheds and also the pitches seem to be in much better condition.
